Life Changes.

I"m going to be offline for a while, as I have decided to leave the alcoholic and my marriage of 17 years. It hasn't been an easy decision, but I believe it's the right one for me. I'll post on this blog again as soon as I get the time. Take care, all.

  1. Good bye, good luck and be good to yourself. I'll be here waiting for you to return....

  2. This seems wise and I know a power greater than yourself is looking out for you and helping you do things you could not do alone. Take care and be gentle with yourself, and get as much sleep as you can; these transitions are wild and difficult, and there's no way of telling what's on the other side (though it's always better than what we've been enduring for years). Strength to you—

  3. Your blog is a light in the darkness, just as poweful as a meeting. It would be selfish to ask you not to go dark, but I too will welcome your return. I salute your honesty and your courage, dear friend .

  10. I am going through a difficult transition myself (long-term unemployment). As a long time Al-Anon member, your blog has given me comfort these last couple of years. I'll be thinking and praying for you friend. --Rita N., Akron, OH
